About Me
Hi, I’m Sam!
I’m a multidisciplinary designer based in Toronto, Canada, with a focus on UX/UI, visual, and graphic design.
My work blends creative thinking with practical problem solving to design intuitive and impactful experiences. I specialize in user research, user testing, wireframing, user flows, and prototyping - but my skills extend beyond UX/UI. With a background in graphic design, illustration, and customer service, I bring a well-rounded and empathetic approach to every project I take on.
I’m passionate about collaborating with others to develop brand identities, craft engaging visuals, and bring thoughtful ideas to life. Whether it's building out a user interface or designing marketing materials, I strive to create solutions that are both modern and meaningful.
If you’d like to connect or work together, feel free to reach out through my contact page or social media. I’m available for projects locally and worldwide.

Skills
user research
My approach to user research is being open minded, asking open ended questions, and practicing strong listening. I apply these skills through the use of practical research methods. These include general and tailored surveys, user interviews, and user testing.
user empathy
My approach to user empathy is creating a safe, judgment-free space where users feel comfortable sharing honest feedback. I always like to begin user testing sessions by reassuring that any opinions shared are valued and will not be taken personally.
qualitative interviews
My approach to qualitative interviews involves creating open-ended and thought provoking questions that encourage thoughtful responses. When developing an interview plan, I ensure each question is objective-driven and avoid asking anything rhetorical, closed, or leading.
